In today's world being honest is the biggest mistake anyone would do! People look down upon you if you happen to tell the truth.
Why is it such a big crime to tell the truth? We are taught at school and at other places that 'honesty is the best policy'. It was definitely true when we learnt it in school but now we wish it is much better if we just lie. In any case, why should we tell the truth? Why is the human mentality such that we are forced to believe that speaking the truth is the only way we are blessed? If that was true why are we not rewarded for being honest?
I don't think Thomas Jefferson's words are relevant today...
Think about it... In today's world, honesty is losing its meaning.
